L. v. Beethoven: Leonore Overture No. 3 – from the beginning until bar 36 and from bar 279 to bar 360

L. v. Beethoven: Symphony No. 3, 4th movement – from bar 172 to bar 200

G. Rossini: William Tell Overture – from bar 181 to bar 226

F. Mendelssohn: A Midsummer Night's Dream Scherzo (solo starting before the letter P until the end of the movement)

J. Brahms: Symphony No. 4, 4th movement – from bar 89 to bar 105

M. Ravel: Daphnis and Chloe – from Reh. M. 176 to second bar after Reh. M. 179

J. S. Bach: St. Matthew Passion, Aria 58 (Aus Liebe will...) – selected part (from the beginning to the end of bar 24)

C. Debussy: Prelude To The Afternoon Of A Faun – first four bars, from Reh. M. 2 to Reh. M. 3

R. Strauss: Salome – Dance of the Seven Veils – from letter D to the second bar after H

Following the registration of the application, the orchestral excerpts will be sent to invited applicants. IMPORTANT! The sheet music sent by our orchestra will be taken as the standard material for the audition. We provide piano accompanist upon request.

Planned Audition Date: 22 May 2025

Exact time will be given later to the invited applicants.

Location: Kodály Centre | Hungary 7622 Pécs, Breuer Marcell sétány 4.

The position will be filled upon mutual agreement.
