Passion, beauty, desires and emotions await the audience of the first concert of the Kodály Series of the Pannon Philharmonic.

Also, the new season will continue with Gergely Kesselyák's "beautiful 20th century" series. Originally, Shostakovich's Festive Overture was written for the celebrations of 7 November. Still, it pays tribute to the rich universe of Russian Romanticism rather than to the Socialist Revolution, so the music survived the age of 7 November festivities. In Mozart's concerto, the pick of solo instruments is ethereal, and when we learn that it was composed in Paris for a father and his daughter, we can suspect that it's unique. Symphony No. 4 of the Swedish composer Hugo Alfvén is so passionate and romantic that in its time, it was nicknamed "Sinfonia erotica".
