Can life go on after the three tenors, Pavarotti, Domingo and Carreras? Can the Italian opera live on after Verdi? This evening is the proof that, yes, they can. Tenors and opera arias can flourish and thrive!

The Hungarian audience may well be familiar with all three singers of the night. Obviously, they will sing some evergreen "hits", and Rossini, Verdi and Puccini cannot be missing from the list of featured composers. Still, the singers will also present us with some famous melodies by Leoncavallo, Erkel, Richard Strauss and Wagner. We can catch a glimpse into Respighi's image of Rossini, Korngold's image of Strauss or hear Liszt sing in Gyula Fekete's opera. At the same time, we can listen to some of Gejza Dusík’s music. We certainly won’t be short of melodies this night!
