Spectacular, emotional, colourful, familiar and glamorous, still, it's not Christmas. So what is it? The upcoming concert of PFZ's Flirt Series. Can you envisage a prelude and fugue in the style of a movie soundtrack? Would you be ready to listen to a virtuoso Impressionist piano concerto? Would you like to know what music a Croatian lady pianist living a century ago composed? And would you care to hear what message Kodály sent with the far too well-known Hungarian melody of The Peacock (Fölszállott a páva) to the Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam? Would you have assumed that with this melody, you can tell a cathartic story, making a journey all over the world? And would you have presumed that this concert programme is so enjoyable that even an audience from Osijek is curious to hear it? Come along on the next Friday 13th, and we'll play this to you in the Kodály Centre. Come and flirt with us!
