Simply the Bests! The Pannon Philharmonic is coming to Müpa with a Valentine's Day show. In addition to Barbra Streisand and ABBA's hits attracting full-house in Pécs several times before, the audience can now sing the forever popular Frank Sinatra songs together again, and for the first time, the symphonic orchestral version of the best-known songs of the legendary rock singer, Tina Turner, can also be relished. Mónika Nika Veres and Bálint Magyar, both endowed with gorgeous voices, will perform duets and solos. The conductor of the evening will be Péter Illényi.

Tickets for the Pannon Philharmonic's 2023 Sinatra night were snapped up in no time, which is no coincidence! The symphonic instrumentation of the orchestra, which also represents quality in Crossover, lends the well-known songs a large and rich sound. In 2024, close to Valentine's Day, the Pécs-based ensemble, also well-versed in popular music styles, will come to Müpa with a programme selection that their audience has already celebrated with multiple ovations in their hometown. The "protagonists" of the evening are the ABBA hits, also well-known from the movie Mamma Mia, songs by the Oscar and Golden Globe Award-winning Barbra Streisand with most sold records, Frank Sinatra, the King of Swing and the rock legend Tina Turner. Each song performed that evening was a worldwide success and has remained on the top of the charts to this day. After the ABBA overture by András Vass, Mónika Veres and Bálint Magyar will sing the most celebrated songs with the Pannon Philharmonic.
