According to a decree issued by the Hungarian Government on 21 September 2020, individuals over the age of 6 are required to wear a mask when attending public events. We will do our best to make you feel safe (body temperature measurement on entry, use of hand sanitizer, disinfection of rooms, etc.) attending our family programmes and we would like to ask you to do the same. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!

BEANBAG SERIES - A bag of classical music - for the youngest music fans
All ages are welcome in Kodály Centre, also in the 2020/21 concert season!
As the phrase goes, you can’t start early enough to listen to good music. Even while in their mom’s belly, babies perceive music played around them and even respond to it. It is now a well-known fact that classical music has a beneficial effect on children’s complex development. We therefore invite all music-loving parents and grandparents to bring their children and grandchildren along to give them the opportunity to become familiar with classical music from an early age.
The highy-committed musicians of our orchestra gently guide children of all ages through the world of music step by step, but parents and grandparents are also most welcome to help us on this path.
Our Beanbag Series is most suited for toddlers and nursery ages children, as it helps them experience music first through singing and reciting nursery rhymes then through enjoying the lively rhythms or lulling melodies of a string quartet.
Our youngest music fans and their parents can again nest up in the fabulous-musical world of the Beanbag Series. The regular contributors of the series - music therapist Zsuzsanna Hrubi and the members of the Buborék Quartet: cellist Nóra Herczeg , violist Gabriella Misányi and violinsts Ágnes Vass and Tímea Németh-Tóth - ensure that the children can enjoy high quality classical music in a comfortably cozy atmosphere.
