Following last year’s enormously successfully Valentine’s Day concert featuring ABBA-hits, the Pannon Philharmonic will now come up with new ones: the audience can hum along with the orchestra in nine new ABBA-arrangements, all made by András Vass.

In the intermission of the Valentine’s Day gala concert, love cocktails will be in the limelight. After last year’s greatly successful cocktail parade, the orchestra will again await its audience with new surprises in the new season. Valentine’s Day is held in the Week of Marriage. We launched the initiative last year, according to which the fortunate lady who is proposed to at the Valentine’s Day gala concert of the Pannon Philharmonic will be given an exclusive serenade by the orchestra’s musicians and a gold engagement ring from Doro Ékszer as a surprise.

The applications of music-loving and courageous young men are to be submitted by 30 November to valentin@pfz.hu. The members of the orchestra will pick the successful candidate who will have the opportunity to propose to his beloved at the Pannon Philharmonic’s concert after interviewing all applicants before Christmas. We suggest he keep it as a secret before his bride-to-be so that it can be a real surprise to her.
