You and your friends are invited to enjoy the beauty of symphonic music in the Kodály Center's auditorium-turned-ballroom. The concert will be conducted by Gergely Vajda and Ádám Bősze, the evening’s host, will provide guidance in English. For the second evening in the series, the orchestra has selected iconic pieces by Hungarian composers as well as some works by composers from the East in honour of the students at the University of Pécs. There is no strict dress code, so come dressed casual or make a night of it and dress up! Hungarian students proficient in English and interested in meeting students from abroad are also welcome.
The program will include a guided tour of the building, followed by a concert of top picks of classical music with entertaining presentation in English.
!!! Prior registration is needed to attend the guided tour starting at 8.15 PM – register HERE
In Spring 2019, our orchestra plans to play together with students from the University of Pécs and spend an evening in the best music venue, the Kodály Center! We would like to invite Hungarian and foreign students to join the Pannon Philharmonic Orchestra and play with the grand orchestra. We will select participants during a preliminary audition, and the audience is also going to be involved in the fun! The bravest can conduct the Pannon Philharmonic from Gergely Vajda's conductor's pulpit!
